Your Chicago Doula Mentorship

ABOUT

Doula work can be amazing, yet overwhelming when you are just getting started. In partnership with Amber Knowles, with Lorelei Lu Doula, we have created a mentorship program that includes bi-weekly live mentoring opportunities, mock-interview sessions, and a collaboration of doulas to grow together with and have a bond right here in Chicagoland. Our hope for doulas in our program is to collaborate, learn and grow during their doula journey. Our mentorship is more like a collective, we work together to support one another and are available if we need a shoulder to lean on or a back up to step in.

Our Process

Submit an Application

All applicants to the program will submit an application and it will be reviewed by the team.
Interview with the team

Each applicant will interview with the team to understand the process and expectations as well as so we can learn more about you and your background and training.
Attend bi-weekly mentoring sessions

Each doula on the team is required to attend at least one session a month so we can connect with you and help your business grow. Meetings are held at 12:15pm on Thursdays.
Attending Births

Growth comes from experience, we will do everything we can to help you jump in and start gaining experience. We also offer on the spot virtual support when you aren’t sure what to do you have the backing of your mentors to lean on.
